Identrust provide the following instructions to replace or renew digital certificates using the Chrome browser.

Ensure to check Identrust website first for updated instructions.

Instructions to replace your digital certificate in Chrome:

Log into our online Certificate Management Center: *identrust.com/login
If it asks you to choose a certificate to log in with, click •cancel'.
Enter in your account number, and account password (the password you created during the application).
From the drop-down menu, select “Replace my certificate".
Follow the onscreen instructions to retrieve the new certificate.

Write down the new activation code generated to use during the retrieval.

When prompted to select a security level,
- “high” will have you create an additional password,
- “medium” will not.
At the end of the retrieval, it will tell you to 'Verify" the installation.
At this point, please refresh the browser (completely close and re-open) and go
to identrust.com/test - follow the prompt to the "Congratulations” screen.
Now you are ready to renew the certificate.
If you have forgotten the account password, enter your account number and selecting "I forgot my password” at the CMC log in screen.

Instructions to Renew your certificate in Chrome:

Log into our online Certificate Management Center: *identrust.com/login when it asks you to choose a certificate to log in with, select the current certificate.
Next select “Grant Permission” and enter the private key password if you created one during the replacement.
From the drop-down menu, select "Renew my certificate".
Follow the onscreen instructions to renew and then retrieve the certificate.

Write down the new activation code generated to use during the retrieval.

When prompted to select a security level,
- “high” will have you create an additional password,
- “medium” will not.
At the end of the retrieval, it will tell you to "Verify" the installation.
Please, follow the prompts to the "Congratulations" screen.
Now you are ready to use the certificate.
If you are presented with more than one certificate to renew, select the one with the date you “replaced” your certificate.
You can safely choose to remove any older or revoked certificates.
